Claims of many have people wondering?

Jerusalem
Much  speculation has been brewing because of many reports that Jesus, who was crucified has been seen walking and talking to some who were followers of him while he was  alive.

3 Days in the  grave, crucified man disappears!
Many seek the one called Jesus, who was crucified on Friday and placed in a tomb on the outskirts of the city limits.

Miracles??
Followers of Jesus, have written and documented accounts of miracles  happening during the course of the time of His time here.

The first recorded was
at a wedding. It is rumored that his mother, Mary, chided him into showing off his power. Knowing it was time for his ministry to begin, she instructed them to do whatever he said. He instructed them to fill the empty water pots of stone with water. He then blessed it and turned the water into wine! The wine had such an impact on everyone who drank it that they were astounded. "Why have you saved the best wine for last?!" For custom is that the best wine is served first and cheaper wine last when guests might not notice. It  is also rumored that it was not the alcohol content as much as an 'anointing' that touched all in attendance.

Coming Soon  Passover Recipe Section

Today's Recipe

Whole Wheat Flat Bread

1 cup whole wheat flour
1 tsp. salt
1 cup yellow corn meal
1 tsp. sugar
3 cups regular flour      2 cups water, approximately
1/3 cup butter

 1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.

 2. Place the whole wheat flour, corn meal and regular flour in a bowl.  With two knives, or the finger tips, work in the butter.

 3. Add the salt and sugar and enough water to enough water to make dough that can be formed into balls.  Make balls the size of large duck eggs.  Pat down and then roll on a lightly floured board until very thin.  A pastry cloth helps.  Turn dough frequently to prevent sticking.

 4. Place dough on a lightly greased baking skillet. Bake 5 to 7 minutes on the shelf in the middle of the ground oven; then transfer to shelf in upper half of the oven for 5 to 7 min. longer, or until done.
  Yield:  Four loaves.

When the soldiers crucified Jesus, they took his clothes, dividing them into four shares, one for each of them, with the undergarment remaining. This garment was seamless, woven in one piece from top to bottom. "Let's not tear it," they said to one another. "Let's decide by lot who will get it. "This happened that the scripture might be fulfilled which said, "They divided my garments among them and cast lots for my clothing."

So this is what the soldiers did.

Special Instructions from Apostles

The followers preach and teach salvation through being 'born again.'

There where twelve men who were appointed to carry  on the work and word of Jesus. They agreed to allow us to publish this list of things that will not secure salvation.

1. Church Membership
2. Baptism
3. Taking the Lord's Supper
4. The Observance of Religious Duties
5. An Intellectual Reception of Christianity
6. Giving to the Poor
7. Morality, or a Lovely Character

Jesus said "Ye Must Be Born Again"

"Except ye repent, ye shall all likewise  perish" (Luke)

"Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven" (Matthew)

There must be a change.

Only One Thing That Will Secure  Salvation.

1. Faith in Jesus the Christ, as Your Personal Savior.

Neither be there salvation in any other.

Jesus said: " He that believeth on me hath everlasting life."

" Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you shall be saved."

"If thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved."

"Without shedding of blood is not remission of sin."

"Ye were not redeemed with corruptible things...But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot." (Peter)

"The blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanseth us from all sin." (John)

"It is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul" (Lev. 17:11)

"He that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him." (John)

Pontius Pilate, governor was quoted saying "But it is your custom for me to release to you one prisoner at the time of the Passover. Do you want me to release the king of the Jews?" They shouted back, "No, not him! Give us Barabbas!" Now Barabbas had taken part in a rebellion.

'Many Gather by the Sea (as reported by Terri)
It seems for days now, thousands upon thousands have been following the man known as Jesus of Nazareth. The now proclaimed Son of God.
The crowds have grown to estimated 5,000 men and more wives and children are accompanying them. Yesterday the reports came in that Jesus, blessed 5 Barley loaves and two fish and fed all that were in attendance. Many now believe that he is the Prophet or the Messiah of the Old testament promise. This is just one of the many miracles that he has accomplished.
Today, when speaking to the crowd, Jesus said these words; Verily, verily, say unto you, Ye seek me, not because ye saw the miracles, but because ye did eat of the loaves, and were filled.  Labor not for the meat which perisheth, but for that meat which endureth unto everlasting life, which the Son of man shall give unto you: for him hath God the Father sealed. This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Moses gave you not that bread from heaven; but my Father giveth you the true bread from heaven. For the bread of God is he which cometh down from heaven, and giveth life unto the world. And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst. But I said unto you, That ye also have seen me, and believe not. All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out. For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me.  And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day.  And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day. Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life. I am that bread of life.
When Talking to the disciples and those that follow him these words of Jesus are what is known as the plan of salvation.

Interview With Peter Who is called the Rock

Interview with Peter, follower of Jesus, as reported
to Terri, senior reporter for the Jerusalem Chronicle.
“Hello Peter, thank you for agreeing to this interview. Do you know this Jesus of Nazareth, the one that was crucified this week?”

“You are welcome and yeah I know Jesus, um very well.”

Have you seen Jesus since he was 'resurrected'?

“Yes, yes mam, I have. It was something, I have never seen anything like that in all my days! At first I didn't recognize him, until I looked into his eyes; I knew who he was. I knew him by the simple and loving way he called my name.”

“You seem so excited about his resurrection.”

“I am now, at first I wasn't sure I believed it, till I went there....and saw the tomb for myself, it was empty!”

“So Peter what was the relationship between you and this Jesus of Nazareth, how did you come to know him and how long were you with him?”

“Well lets see....(their is an extended time period before he reply s) I was on my boat fishing with my brother...we had been fishing all day, and Jesus came by and he yells and tells us to throw our nets in on the other side. So we did and the net became so full that we could barely bring it in, almost sank our boat. I was amazed! Then he looks at us and tells us if we follow him he will make us fishers of men. That's how it started. I walked beside him for three and half years. We became friends and more, something in my spirit told me he was more than just a mere man.

“I understand that Jesus was known to perform miracles in front of his followers, did you witness this?

“Oh Yes!”

“Like what did you see?”

“He made the blind to see and deaf to hear, the lame

to walk, he cleansed the lepers. And raised Lazarus from the grave.”

“Well Peter, I hear that the last time you saw Jesus, things weren't so good between you two, is that true? Can you explain what happened?”

“Well yes, you could say that.” ( he hesitates) “The man that I knew for three and half years and thought I loved with all my heart,  I forsook him when he really needed me, he told me what I would do and when I would do it and I didn't want to believe him....I really didn't think I was capable of leaving him when he really needed me. That was the worst night of my life...You ever had one of those days when couldn't do anything right? Well Friday was that day for me!”

“How do you do mean?”

“It was the Passover feast and we were all gathered in the upper room Jesus was telling us that

one of us would betray him. And I insisted that it couldn't be me. Well he pointed out that it was Judas Iscariot which was a relief to me, but then something else happened...He began to wash our feet.
He was our Lord and we were suppose to be his servants but he washed our feet! Afterwards we went to the Garden so that he could pray....we knew it

would be soon that they would come for him. We all went with, but James, John and I went further with him, then he went off alone, I don't know what came over me but honestly I just couldn't stay awake. He asked us twice to stay awake with him for one hour but we just couldn't keep our eyes open. Then the soldiers came with Judas, it all happened so fast! They seized him after Judas's betrayal Kiss. I thought I was doing the right thing when I drew my sword and sliced off a ear of one of them. It was a clean cut, but Jesus told me to put my sword away.

From that point things just went down hill for me. I saw Jesus as they led him away but by  this point I had  ran  away. I hid and so did  the  others.  Then  three people  asked  me  if  I  was associated with him. I guess it  was  fear  that  made  me say  no,  but when the cock  crowed I looked  around and there was the last glimpse of Jesus  that I  would  have before they led  him away to be  tortured  and  beaten, he heard  the   rooster  too  and the look on his face was not hurt or anger, it was, do you believe me now my friend.
It was from sheer guilt that I ran then. This  was something that he had warned us about, but in the three years that we were  together. I guess we never  really understood until we saw him after the resurrection.

“So you denied him then, but you know him now is that what you are saying?”

“Yes. I guess I am.”

“What changed your mind, if I might ask?”

“ The words of Jesus changed my min.  He told Mary to tell me that I was to meet him in Galilee, no more said than that. I was forgiven for having my doubts, for having my fears. He still wanted me to be the Rock of his church.”

“So  what  happens  now Peter?”

“Now the work begins for his church, he laid the    foundation with his coming to earth, he started the building with his ministry, he raised the walls with the shedding of his blood, he erased religious pompous with his resurrection. Yes  now we need to fill the church. If you will excuse me I need to get to work doing just that, I lost a   whole day yesterday, because I went fishing.”

“Well, thank you Peter for your time...  this will be published soon, have a good   day.”

“Again, you are welcome, and I hope that you have learned something from this interview also Terri, he is   the Christ, the Messiah we  have waited to hear from.  He died for all sins and  yours included. I hope you  will think of that when you   hand this to your editor. The  Peace of Christ I leave with you.

Next week get stories about the believers who are all waiting in the Upper room for the promise that Christ spoke of.

Can you still deny Him? He loved you
so much that He gave his life for you.

Pray this simple prayer of faith:
Dear Jesus, I believe you are the Son of God, that you were born of a virgin, that you gave your life to pay the price for my sins. I believe you rose from the dead and sent your Holy Spirit to come into our hearts to abide. I invite you to come into my heart now and cause me to be born again. I receive you by faith. Confirm that I am yours now, I pray. Amen

If you prayed this prayer and meant it, the bible
tells us all the angels in heaven are rejoicing with you !
